Hershey's NutRageous chocolate bar consists of Reese's Peanut Butter topped with roasted peanuts and caramel coatings with milk chocolate. It was developed as a candy bar based on Reese's Peanut Butter Cup. Before NutRageous first sold in 1994, the company was going to call it "Acclaim." They decided to change their name because their target consumer base, which are children prefer it to be named "NutRageous" instead.
This candy bar is similar to Baby Ruth and Snickers candy bars. These 3 chocolate bars use caramel and peanuts, and both has a coat of milk chocolate. Baby Ruth and Nutrageous both has a lumpy texture on the top of the bar produced by the chocolate covered peanuts. However, NutRageous uses Reese's Peanut Butter for the center instead of nougat.
