Hold my hand and I will tell you of a distant place where a war rages between two opposing sides, but still a forbidden love is in full bloom. That place is the world of Nestle and this is the story about the great Choco Raisin conflict of sweet proportions. Many eons ago, the raisins lived in a healthy state of peace, naturally aging from their years of youth as grapes into the prime age of raisin-hood. However, an invasion that no raisin could have predicted befell their homeland of Rai. The chocolate-teers had arrived. Bold conquerors from another planet, the chocolate-teers were charismatic beings that conquered homelands, not by force, but by pure deliciousness. Before their invasion of Rai, no planet could resist their scrumptious looks, devilish charm and their dark, attractive tone, but under their appearances, the chocolates had a sinister motive: to take over all of the Candy Universe and rule it with an iron fist. Wise beyond their years, the raisins of Rai immediately realized the deceit of the chocolate-teers' looks and figured out their true intentions of descending on their homeland. They took immediate action, fending off the off-guard invaders with ancient weaponry: the great vines of the Wine Tree and explosive seeds crafted by the finest engineers of Rai. The chocolate-teers sustained major casualties, but they were not there to flee. They were there to conquer. Armed with the finest arsenal of the Chocolate kingdom, the chocolate-teers fought back in full military force, flexing their chocolate biceps, out-sweetening the raisins at certain strategic military strongholds. The war raged on for many years and great resentment grew between the two factions. However, a strong forbidden love between a raisin princess and a rogue chocolate soldier changed the whole course of invasion history! Their sweet embrace created a literal shockwave of flavor explosion to occur on the little planet of Rai, physically uniting the two faction's members into one super race known only as the Raisinets.
First introduced in the United States in 1927, now Nestle produces the sweet chocolate and raisin treat in two flavors: milk and dark chocolate. A popular bulk vending candy, Raisinets is gleefully eaten in movie theaters especially for large blockbuster superhero and sci-fi movies. The perfect bite size movie candy! Their sweet chocolate coating gives an added savory sweetness to the already fruit center of the raisin. Taste the flavor that nature made, but humans improved!
