Hershey's Kisses are bite-sized pieces of chocolate that looks like flat-bottomed teardrops. It is wrapped in squares of lightweight, silver foil with a narrow strip of paper protruding from the top. The silver foil is very easy to unwrapped, and it is secured to the chocolate very tightly. They use Hershey's original milk chocolate to make these pieces of chocolate.
This candy was ranked the 5th most popular chocolate in America in 1989. Sales soared up to $400 million that year. More than 80 million Hershey's Kisses are produced each day at the company's two factories because the chocolate is very high in demand.
