Hershey's 5th Avenue candy bar is a crunchy peanut butter bar covered in Hershey's chocolate! Doesn't that entice you enough? You want more? You got it!
The candy bar was named after the street where Luden's throat drops were first created. This street is located in Reading, Pennsylvania, a street full of life and cultural "readings." This candy appeared in Stargate and Seinfield, a 1994 sci-fi movie (not to be confused with Stargate and Seinfeld, two popular television programs in the 1990s and early 21st century).
This candy was first made in 1936, and it quickly became a favorite of American troops in World War II because of a great combination of crunchy peanut butter and rich chocolate coating. This candy bar previously had two thick chocolate-coated almond half's on top, but this was sadly discontinued in the mid 1990's. Still 5th Avenue chocolate bar still has that same delicious taste that you adore!
